When you’re away from home

Allergies don’t go on holiday.

At home, you know what you’re looking for. Abroad, suddenly the label is full of words you don’t recognise.

ClearaScan can recognise mapped ingredient names in supported languages and check them against your Ingredient Guard.

Same rules. Different country.

Everyone is different

One family. Different things to look out for.

Your child’s Ingredient Guard doesn’t need to look like yours.

When something isn’t clear, ClearaScan tells you.

When you’re checking a label because an ingredient really matters, a confident guess isn’t good enough.

Couldn’t read it all, try again

Reads the label you’re holding

ClearaScan starts with what’s printed on the actual product.

Doesn’t pretend it can see what it can’t

If a scan isn’t clear enough, ClearaScan asks you to try again.

Keeps your rules current

Regular reminders help you review each person’s Ingredient Guard.

Because when ingredients matter, we’d rather tell you we’re unsure than pretend we’re certain.

More than a label check

ClearaScan stays useful after you leave the shop.

Remember what happened.

Keep a personal record of products and reactions so you’re not relying on memory later.

Clear answers, no guesswork

Get quick information about scanning, setting personal ingredient rules, and how your data is handled.

How does scanning a label work?+

Point your camera at the printed ingredient label. ClearaScan reads it and checks it against that person’s Ingredient Guard, then shows the result. No barcode needed.

What do the results mean?+

Green means nothing on that person’s avoid list was found. Amber means we matched something, shown clearly. We only give a result once the whole label can be read.

Can I check for more than one person?+

Yes. Each person you look after gets their own profile and Ingredient Guard. You choose who a scan is for, and the label is checked against their rules.

Does it recognise other languages?+

If the label is in a language ClearaScan supports, it recognises the ingredient names and checks them against your Ingredient Guard. Your rules travel with you.

Can I share with a partner or carer?+

Yes, through Care Circle. Share a profile so a partner, grandparent or carer can check labels against your rules. They’ll need their own ClearaScan account to accept the share.

What if an ingredient isn’t recognised?+

Add any allergen name or spelling to your Ingredient Guard yourself, and ClearaScan catches it on every future scan. If you’re stuck, contact support and we’ll help.

Is my information private?+

Your data stays in your account. We never sell it or share it with advertisers, and you can export or delete it any time from Settings.

Is there a free version?+

Yes. ClearaScan starts with a free 7-day trial with full access, so you can try everything before you decide. After that, Pro is $3.99/month or $29/year.

Is ClearaScan a medical tool?+

No. It’s a personal reference tool to help you avoid your triggers. It isn’t medical advice, so always read the label and follow professional advice.

You already know what you need to avoid. ClearaScan helps you check that you haven’t missed it.
